Dear Patients

It is with regret that, after 15 years working as a partner at Dodson Medical/Takapuna Health, I have made the decision to handover to two younger GPs.  I will continue to work as a locum GP and hopefully for Takapuna Health for holiday and sick leave cover.

My decision has been made because my partner Rowan has retired and we are keen to do some extended travel adventures and volunteering abroad while we are still fit enough to do so.

We have been fortunate at Takapuna Health to secure two excellent younger GPs who have been working with us for some time.  I am sure the brand-new premises in such a great location has helped in this time of GP shortages!  This has made my decision easier, although I still feel sad about it, especially for the patients I have had the privilege of knowing for most of the 15 years.  For those of you I have only recently met, I apologise for the change as I know you were likely looking for a GP for a long-term commitment, I know Dr Rob and Dr Isabel will offer continuity of care for years to come.

You can choose either Dr Rob Ni or Dr Isabel Titlow as your regular doctor. If you have a preference, please let us know by filling in this form or during your next visit.  If we don’t hear from you, we will assign you to one of the two doctors, but you can switch to the other doctor at any time.  Dr Rob is in clinic five days a week and Dr Isabel is available Wed and Fri up until April when she will be available Mon, Wed and Fri. 

I handover on 31/03/25 and would like to thank you for the faith and trust that you have placed in me, it has been an honour.
